Are you looking for an atmospheric venue for a business meeting, a conference, wedding or event? The Hallwyl Museum, a large private house in the heart of Stockholm dating back to the end of the 19th century, has rooms to suit both small groups and large gatherings. We offer exclusive opportunities to hire.

The kitchen

You can arrange a dinner in the kitchen of the Hallwyl Museum. It seats up to 35 people and can accommodate up to 50 people standing. Rental costs SEK 6000 for one evening.

The wine cellar

Hold a wine tasting session in a genuine wine cellar. Prices from SEK 2000.

The picture gallery

A large, light, attractive room ideal for conferences. Rental costs SEK 6500.

The large drawing room

If you plan to give a lecture or organise an event involving up to 75 people, the large drawing room will provide a magnificent setting. Rental costs SEK 6500.

The courtyard

If you are planning a large event under open sky, the courtyard is the ideal venue. It is surrounded by the yellow-painted walls of the house and is completely secluded. It will accommodate a maximum of 250 people. Please contact us to ask for a quote.

All the rooms and the courtyard are subject to an additional hourly cost of SEK 675 for security guards.

We can recommend a number of well-known catering companies.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the wines which we import directly must be ordered via the museum.

A variety of activities can be booked together with room hire.  For example: guided tours on different subjects, musical entertainment, wine tastings and the "Klurigt & finurligt" (Clever and ingenious) quiz.

THE HALLWYL HOUSE

Hallwyl House at No 4 Hamngatan was built between 1893-98 to designs by Isak Gustaf Clason, Sweden´s most renowned architect at the time.
