School holidays

We run a range of playful programs that bring the stories in the Hallwyl House to life. All activities are released a few weeks before each school holiday.

Hallwyleen

Saturday, October 26 – Sunday, November 3, 2024

The palace is haunted again! It all starts when Miss Sträng arrives at the strange Hellwyl house to work as a governess. What are those stains on Mamsell's apron, and isn't the servant Läskil looking quite pale? What really happened when the previous governess left? It will be a spooky exploration through the house in this dramatized tour for brave children from 8 years old.

For adults

”Do you believe in ghosts? No, but I'm afraid of them."

Daily from October 24 – November 3, 2024

During the years around 1900, a wave of spiritualism and mysticism swept through the grand salons. Combined with the almost unbelievable scientific advances of the time, it created a world where anything seemed possible. Join us on a spooky walk through the palace this autumn evening, where shadowy figures appear, and whispers can be heard in the dark.

The tour lasts about an hour and is aimed at an adult audience

You will hear all about this in the recorded audio tour, which also explains how each room in the house was used.
