Artsy summer at the Hallwyl museum

Naivism from the forests of Northern Sweden and sculptures from the coast of China. This summer, the Hallwyl Museum, is showcasing two exhibitions featuring the artists Lim-Johan and Torsten Jurell. Also visit the museum's unique collection of Dutch and Flemish 17th-century art in the gallery at the top floor of the house.

Join us on a guided tour of the Hallwyl Museum, where the turn of the 20th century is in focus. Learn about the history of the house and the collections. Let us tell you about the von Hallwyl family and the servants in the house. During the guided tour, we visit the museum's three floors. Without a guided tour ticket, you can only visit two floors of the house.

During the summer, two different exhibitions are displayed at the museum. Admission to the museum and exhibitions costs SEK 120. Tickets are purchased on-site at the museum.

Exhibition about beloved naive artist Lim-Johan

The artist Johan Erik Olsson (1865–1944), better known as Lim-Johan, is considered one of our foremost naïve artists. Experience Lim-Johan's painting, woodcarving, and photography.

The artist Torsten Jurell exhibits at the Hallwyl Museum this spring with his ceramics inspired by Chinese mythology.

Visit our playroom, which has a kitchen, dining room and smoking room, all ready for nobility and servants in a smaller format. Visiting the playroom is free of charge.

Entrance to the museum costs SEK 120. Ordinary guided tours cost SEK 170 including entrance. Free entrance for children up to and including 18.
